Plotting Services
Color plots can be made on a 36-inch wide Hewlett-Packard color plotter. Plots cost $5.10 per linear foot, payable at the Weber Lab with MasterCard/Visa or on Account with your University ID card.
Departments needing to plot can pay with an A-card or a departmental account number. To bill to an account number, the following information is needed: Department Name, Department Number, Department Phone Number, Name of Individual purchasing plot, and Account Number to be billed. The cost for departments is $4.00 per linear foot when paid on account, and $5.10 per linear foot when paid with the A-Card.
Note: we can no longer accept the plotting cards purchased from the University ID office, as the card reading equipment is damaged beyond repair. If you have a remaining balance on your plotting card, your balance can be transferred to a copy card by the University ID office (in the Lory Student Center).
Plotting is available on a first-come/first-served basis. Plots may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours depending on demand and file size.
Please try to use one the following recommended programs for plotting: Photoshop, Illustrator, or PowerPoint.
For the best results, review the CTSS large format guidelines prior to building your plots. (Adobe Reader required.)
Scanning Stations
The CTSS Computing Lab has three different types of scanners (listed below) available to all CSU students, faculty, and staff. Each scanner is connected to a PC with software including Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, OmniPage, and HP PrecisionPro (HP ScanJets only).
