Setting up Apple’s iPhone to access CSU’s Wi-Fi network using CISCO VPN.
Note: In order for the CISCO VPN to work, the user's iPhone must have its Wi-Fi adapter enabled and connected to the SSID: “CSU” Wi-Fi network.
Disclaimer: iPhones are not supported by ACNS/CTSS at this time. The information below is a help sheet on how to connect your iPhone to the CSU VPN.
Follow Steps Listed Below:
Start at the “Home Screen”
Tap on the “Settings Icon”

Tap on “General “ settings

Tap on “Network” settings

Tap on “VPN” settings

Tap and select “Add VPN Configurations”

At the top of the “Add VPN Configurations” screen, tap and select “IPSec”

Then under the “IPSec” setting screen type/add the following settings:

Description: Colo State Wi-Fi Server: 129.82.80.2 Account: Type the users “E-ID” Password: Type the user s “E-ID” Use Certification: Set to “Off” Group Name: csuvpn Secret: colostate |
Tap “Save” at the top of the “Add VPN Configurations” screen

NOTE: Colo State Wi-Fi Configuration should be listed as an option on the VPN Screen if the steps above have been completed correctly.

Return to the “Home Screen”
Tap on the “Settings Icon"

The Settings screen should have a “VPN” entry/setting that can be turned On/Off
Tip: The VPN option will only appear if the VPN Configuration was saved in the above steps.
Tap on the “VPN” entry/setting and turn On “VPN” client

Once the “VPN” option is turned On, the user should get a pop message that states “Welcome to CSU VPN” . Click on the OK button.

The user's iPhone is now connected and has access to “CSU’s” Wi-Fi network
